Nature education for all

St Andrew’s C of E Primary School

St Andrew’s is a town-based Nursery/Primary School with over 350 children. Located in the middle of the town means that its outdoor space is limited. However, staff and children can still enjoy the opportunity to connect with nature.

The school has managed to secure an allotment 20 minutes walk from the School to encourage children to learn about planting/growing and nature. They also have a small piece of land with the allotment, which classes can use for outdoor learning. With the Get Out! Grant from EVOLVE Advice, St Andrew’s C of E Primary were able to purchase tools and outdoor clothing to equip the children and enable them to start their allotment project.
