Taking learning outdoors

Marden Lodge Primary School and Nursery

Marden Lodge is a small state run primary school (One form entry) with limited funds and resources.

They wanted to start a forest school to give the children in the school the opportunity for outdoor learning as the majority of children live in local flats without gardens or suitable outdoor space. They applied for the Get Out! Grant to purchase outdoor equipment so that the children can explore the outdoors.
