Safety assessment pathway for Trampoline parks
A pathway to assess Trampoline Parks was introduced in 2023. The aim of the pathway is to standardise the way that trampoline parks approach safety and to inform users about the standards individual parks have met.
Some trampoline parks provide educational sessions, which are recognised by holding the LOTC Quality Badge. Before a park is assessed for the Quality Badge, they must first have been assessed in the last three years, to the British Standards Institute (BSI) PAS5000:2017, or more recently the International Standard (ISO 23659).
If a Trampoline Park does not hold an LOtC Quality Badge, schools should do their own due diligence which may include checking that trampoline parks can prove they have been assessed to the above BSI and ISO standards. Some employers have a specific policy about visiting trampoline parks - check this before you plan a visit.
